Free drop-in sessions offer people the chance to talk about their writing with other writers, whilst also having access to professional publishing industry support and help.
Social inclusion sessions for older people
To encourage people to use their spare time to write, working on projects such as memoirs to preserve family and community history, children’s books for family members or novels.
School publishing projects
A bespoke programme tailored to the needs of the school and the pupil group working towards the end goal to publish a book. Working from initial ideas and storytelling, through planning and writing a book, to the production process to publish a book, these projects are a brilliant and innovative way to engage young people in writing and reading, and to develop a love of books.
These programmes can also have a commercial aspect to them involving book distribution and sales.
Introduction to self-publishing
This workshop covers topics including how to write, self-edit and revise your final manuscript, the production process of typesetting and print, and then the all-important issues of distribution, sales and marketing.
This is an introductory workshop that is friendly and relaxed, and is suitable for all writers who’d like to know more about the whole process of self-publishing.
